Ecstasy.

If you could be any object, what would you want to be?  A toaster?  A toy car?  Lipstick perhaps?

A piano was what came to mind.  Something used, with built-in character and a story to tell.  It may be rough around the edges, it doesnt have to be smooth.  I usually see imperfection as something beautiful, raw and delicate.

Who are you?  What do you live for?  What makes your heart tingle?

I am an artist, a lover, and a dancer who moves within her own rythem.  I live for adrenaline, happiness, and passion.   Taboos, pâtisserie, and mark ryden is what makes my heart tickle.

I have a thing for staying up until dawn and catching a glimpse of sunrise.  The heart of Île-de-France is where my childhood is set.

Everything inspires me.  What I see.  What I hear.  What I feel.  All of my 5 senses are in working mode 24/7.

What are you?

Cravings!

Every summer I tell myself how I should be working out so that right after the holidays I'll be coming back smokin'.  Yeah, what a fail.  I've come to realize that that will never happen and that summer is a time for indulging myself.

  • A few days ago I was walking around in Champs-Élysées until I spotted Ladurée.  My heart literally skipped a beat.  I remember last summer I'd buy a load of cheap macarons but that was nothing in comparison to what Ladurée has to offer!

Each macaron here is about 2.00 euros. Pretty pricey but oh so worth it! My favourites were Rose and Vanilla and I think there was Coconut too. The packaging was also beautiful! I decided to take it to-go seeing as how it's usually always crowded - bummer.

  • Another addiction?  Self-tanners!  Now if I were to still be living in the Middle East, then that wouldn't be a problem and I really don't have the patience to be lying down for a good 2 hours!  Anyways, lately I've been using the Nivea Summer Beauty self-tanner and honestly, I love it!  My legs were as pale as a ghost!  I was able to see results in 2 days.  The first day worked out well, but I wasn't so sure.  The only thing that's putting me off is the scent!  Other than that, it's not bad.

  •  Laces!  I've been wearing the same lacey top for days now!  Well not in a row, but I've been wearing it a lot lately.  It's been a good 2 months since I've been looking for one!  I found a cheap version of it at F21, however the colour was pink and I've been looking for ivory/off-white.  Unfortunately my camera's down so no pix.  But I got it at Morgan de toi.

  • OPI's Panda-monium Pink!  It's a pretty pale nude pink colour.  It may not be your typical summery shade since usually the colours of the season are bright but I can't stand neon colours or anything bright, also I'm not willing to spend 13.50 euros on nail polish that I'll be wearing 1-3 times a year.  Anyways my one complaint is that I don't really like the coating.  I have to have about 3 coats to get an even colour but I'm just too in love with the colour, so I guess I don't mind as much.

  • Bronzer!  Now, here's the thing.  My skin tone's medium with olive tones.  I've stopped wearing blushes for a long while now, and recently got hooked to bronzer since February (my friend got me hooked when I was in Italia!).  My one and only (favourite) would have to be Chanel's Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Powder in 64 Desert Bronze.  It's lovelovelove.  I'm usually really paranoid on breaking out when using powders, but the quality of this is amazing!  And honestly, using this kind of evens out my olive-ness.  Also, the amount of product you get in the tin lasts you forever.  No joke.

Flower Power!

  • I've always had a thing for gardening.   More like, visualizing myself planting stuff rather than doing it.  As a matter of fact, someday I hope to have a "Hameau de la reine" of my own.  A beautiful getaway.  A garden filled with forbidden fruits, luscious roses, and culinary vegetables.

One of my favourite flowers is the Yves Piaget.  So big.  So fluffy.  Resembles much like a peony but with more colour.

Isn't it gorgeous?

Anyways, unfortunately they're hard to find around here.  But I do plan on going to a jardinarie shop, hoping to get myself some seeds of many kinds.

  • Another thing that I find interesting about flowers is that each kind represents a certain message.  The colour.  The type.  They're all symbolic:

- Deep red: Passion, strength, desire.

-Pink: Perfect happiness, romance and grace.

-Purple: Royalty, dignity, pride and success.

-White: Innocence, humility, and reverence.

-Yellow: Joy, lightheartedness, and friendship.

-Orange: Energy, enthusiasm, warmth.

-Green: Health, youth and good fortune.

Bonjour!

Greetings from France! So, I've decided to start a blog and what makes it even better is that I have a lot of free time for it considering how it's summer! I'm staying in France for aprox. a month then heading to the UK for another month! A way to enjoy myself before heading to University!

This blog will feature everything. I'm into crafts, cooking, fashion, etc. Typical merde. Basically whatever interests me is what will be posted but with great depth. -winx.

Anyways, decided that for my first post, I'll just introduce myself. My name's Shaha. I'm into many things. Hoping to major in marketing. I love astrology, macarons, and febreeze. More posts to come!

Au revoir!
